Chicago Red Light Cameras
Hundreds of attorneys challenged City of Chicago red light and speed camera tickets before us. But none of them realized that the City had failed to follow the requirements of its own municipal code, rendering thousands of citations potentially void. Our lawyers stood up for the due process rights of all Chicagoans, because no one is above the law.
The result was a historic settlement that provided $125, 387, 948 in total relief to class members, including refunds and debt forgiveness. The City also agreed to begin following the law. Plus, because of this unprecedented agreement, thousands of motorists were spared improper collections actions or vehicle tows.
