Uber Overcharge
Uber told thousands of passengers that a 20% “gratuity” was “for the driver,” but then kept a substantial portion of the money for itself. It was our lawyers who found out and won full refunds for consumers. In approving the settlement, the Federal Judge who presided over the case found that the settlement “provides substantial relief to Class Members in that it refunds essentially the full amount of the gratuity charge Plaintiff claimed was retained by Uber.”
