Lawsuit Filed Against the City of Chicago for Running “School” Safety Cameras on Non-School Days

A lawsuit was filed against the City of Chicago seeking a refund of fines paid by motorists who were issued automated speed camera violations in school safety zones on non-school days, including during this past summer break.

A lawsuit was filed by Attorney Jacie Zolna against the City of Chicago seeking a refund of fines paid by motorists who were issued automated speed camera violations in school safety zones on non-school days, including during this past summer break.  The lawsuit also seeks to have the City void all warning and violations issued during non-school days.
